About us
Meet the team behind Nova.
Our story
Founded at CSAA in 2025
Team 11270 Nova was formed so students could take on a full FIRST Robotics Competition season from the first sketch to the final match.
Students make technical and strategic decisions, document their work, represent the team, and learn how to recover when a design does not perform as expected.

How the team works
Students design, fabricate, program, and operate the robot
Each season begins with a new game and a fixed deadline. The team turns the rules into requirements, builds prototypes, tests mechanisms, writes software, and prepares for competition.
Working alongside mentors and sister team FRC 9785 gives students room to ask better questions while keeping ownership of the work.
